About me...
My name is Gabriëlle Brinkman, with my two cats and dogs I live in the Netherlands. Since the year 2000 I am surrounded by Border Collies. At the time I bought my first border collie in the year 2000, I was finishing my degree for dogsbehaviorspecialist. In 2002 I bought Gwen as a puppy, she is the first Border collie I worked on sheep, and since then never stopped. The amount of pleasure, you and your dog can have with working sheep is so much fun.
During my education for dogsbehaviorspecialist you had to become an instructer, so I did and I worked for 6 years as an instructer.
After a few years working with Gwen I bought Megan, she is the first border collie I bought out of working lines.
She is a very strong bitch, and very keen. For me she was very strong to handle and I had the feeling I had to fight with her in trianing. I decided to breed from her , she was strong for me but she was a good bitch with a very calm and friendly caracter when not working.
I mated her to Grimm. He was for me the type I really liked. I kept Dave from that litter.
Finn Petersen always liked Megan very much, and since I kept on struggling with her, I decided to let her go. It was a very hard decision, and I will never forget her! I know she is in good hands with Finn in Denmark.
Then there is another newcommer. Her name is Spotan. And she is showing some nice talent. After I saw her father working I new I wanted a pup of that dog. When I new this liter existed, and I heard what breeding her mother is out of, I was even more exited.
All the pics and information you want to know of them you can find on the website.
Have fun, Gaby
